Sharon Ruth Suprun Littley, a 77-year-old resident of Greer, passed away on August 22, 2026. A memorial service is scheduled for Saturday, September 19, at 11 a.m. at The Wood Mortuary in Greer, providing an opportunity for local residents to pay their respects.
Born on April 24, 1949, in Somers Point, New Jersey, Sharon was the daughter of the late Leon and Ruth Suprun. She was a native of Mays Landing, New Jersey, and dedicated her career to George Mason University in Northern Virginia, where she worked until her retirement. Following her retirement, Sharon relocated to Fairfield, where she resided for 12 years.
During her time in Fairfield, Sharon was an active member of several community organizations in Lexington, including the Lexington Woman’s Club, the Lexington Newcomer’s Club, and the Daughters of the American Revolution. She was also a member of Fairfield United Methodist Church. More recently, she had been attending Covenant Church in Greer.
Sharon was known for her love of entertaining and hosting parties for friends. She also found joy in assisting organizations dedicated to helping those less fortunate.
She is survived by her husband of nearly 58 years, Jack Littley, with whom she shared a lifetime of travel and memories as high school sweethearts. Sharon is also survived by her daughter, Sharon Michelle Littley Ewens, and her husband David. She leaves behind two grandchildren, Ashleigh M. Ewens of Atlanta, Georgia, and Meghan N. Ewens of Denver, Colorado. Her sister, Gayle Suprun Ware of Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey, along with many nieces and nephews, also survive her. Sharon’s daughter, Micki, spent the last six months with her, enjoying shopping outings, plays, and dinners together.
Sharon was preceded in death by her son, Kevin M. Littley. A separate celebration of life is planned to be held in Lexington at a later date.
