Hincapie and Sarkisov Achieve Top 10 Finishes
Enzo Hincapie, from Greenville, S.C., and Katherine Sarkisov both achieved top 10 road race finishes at the UCI Road World Championships. The U23 Women and Junior Men’s road races were held on the Mont Royal circuit.
Katherine Sarkisov finished seventh in the U23 Women’s race. Viktoria Chladoňová (SVK) won the U23 Women’s world title. Kylee Hanel was involved in two crashes during the U23 Women’s race but finished 29th.
Enzo Hincapie finished eighth in the Junior Men’s race. Benjamín Noval (ESP) secured his second world title of the championship in the Junior Men’s race.
