Mazda of Spartanburg Celebrates Grand Opening
Mazda of Spartanburg recently celebrated the grand opening of its new stand-alone dealership. The facility, located at 500 E. Daniel Morgan Ave., brings together Mazda sales, financing, parts, and service operations in a dedicated environment. The dealership serves customers throughout Spartanburg and the broader Upstate, including Greenville, Gaffney, and surrounding communities.
Adam Rainwater is the general manager of Mazda of Spartanburg. The grand-opening celebration included a ribbon cutting, facility tours, vehicle displays, and remarks from Rainwater, Hudson Automotive Group President and CEO David Hudson, and representatives of OneSpartanburg, Inc.
The dealership’s service center employs factory-trained technicians and offers genuine Mazda parts.
This grand opening marks the latest stage in the dealership’s transition from Vic Bailey Mazda to Mazda of Spartanburg. Hudson Automotive Group acquired Vic Bailey Automotive’s five dealerships in December 2023. Vic Bailey Automotive was founded in Spartanburg in 1969. Hudson Automotive Group, a family-owned automotive company founded in 1948, is headquartered near Charleston, South Carolina.
